For the selection of 2354 Vacancies, DSSSB has published a Vacancy Notification (Advertisement No. 05/2023). From January 9, 2024, to February 7, 2024, you can apply online. For the following positions: Lower Division Clerk, Junior Assistant, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English), Lower Division Clerk-cum-Typist, Jr. Stenographer, Stenographer, and Assistant Grade-I, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is accepting online applications from qualified candidates. Job Qualification (DSSSB 2024 recruitment): 12th Class, Senior Secondary Pass
- Junior Assistant:
(1) A pass in grades 10 and 12 from an accredited board or institution.
(2) A computer typing speed of thirty wpm in Hindi or thirty wpm in English.
- English junior stenographer:
(1) Minimum Matriculation from an accredited board or university with a 12th grade pass.
(2) 40 words per minute for typing and 100 words per minute for shorthand.
- Grade II Stenographer:
(1) A 12th grade diploma or its equivalent under the 10+2 system from an accredited university or board.
(2) 40 words per minute (wpm) in English typewriting and 80 words per minute (wpm) in shorthand (OR) 80 words per minute (wpm) in shorthand and 35 words per minute (wpm) in Hindi typewritten.
- LDC / Cum Typist LDC:
(1) A 12th grade diploma or a comparable credential from an accredited university or board.
(2) A computer typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi (35 and 30 words per minute, respectively, equate to 10500 KDPH and 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions each word).
- Junior Hindi stenographer:
Senior Secondary (Matric + 12th pass) from any accredited Board / Institute with Hindi proficiency, with Hindi as a subject.
(2) Norms for Skill Tests: Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute in Hindi; Transcription: 65 minutes on a computer; Typewriting test in Hindi at 30 words per minute on a computer.
- Assistant Grade-I:
(1) Senior Secondary Pass (or its equivalent) from an accredited board.
(2) Must be able to type at least 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute, on average, equate to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depression of each word).
